Golf Fitness Begins With Proper StretchingGolf fitness not only pertains to exercise away from the golf course, but proper stretching before a workout and before golfing is very important!
Hamstring Stretch
1. Start by placing your golf club on the ground and hold onto the end of the club. 2. Place one leg forward keeping your knee straight. 3. Lean forward keeping your back flat until you feel a stretch in the back of your front leg. 4. Hold this stretch for the suggested number of seconds and then repeat with the other leg.
You can't over-emphasize the importance of properly stretching before playing golf. Golf fitness is important, even if you plan on riding in a cart, which I personally think takes away from the game.
